When people meet me at shows, or see my collection of “rescued” vintage bracelets, I always get asked about how I got into doing these types of creations.  It started when I was about 14 years old.

In my travels, I visit browseries (antique stores), estate sales and vintage shops, in search of forgot gems of history.  The earliest jewelry pieces that I have discovered date from 1920’s through the 80’s.

Each piece of jewelry that I create contains the energies of the people who wore them in the past. Plus, the energies of the semi-precious stones themselves.  Each new creation of wearable art, I use the older historical pieces and meld them into the new pieces.  There is satisfaction in getting to help the history of these bygone pieces live again.  I am happy when my art is discovered by people who will treasure these re-imagined items from today, just like the people who owned them decades ago.

Each of my bracelets is a one-of-a-kind, unique creation that brings the best of the current times into harmony with the echoes of the past.
